for School Leaders of Wellbeing, SCENCOs, Counsellors, Psychologists, Social Workers, RTLBs and Teachers
The first Accelerated Universal Wellbeing Evaluation Tool (UWET) Accreditation PD programme in New Zealand will be provided from the 30th April 2024. The programme is research-based and comprehensively prepares UWET Facilitators to administer and report outcomes and take appropriate actions depending on outcomes.
The UWET has emerged from a 15 year wellbeing research programme which included two national Best Practice Research Awards and is underpinned by the Universal Wellbeing Model. The Tool has the capacity to swiftly providing professionals and clinicians with information about the status of the 70 Determinants of Universal Wellbeing and to identify risks.
To date users of the UWET have indicated it:
- improves deep understandings of universal wellbeing
- is the most comprehensive evaluation of universal wellbeing available
- identifies variables that support universal wellbeing
- identifies variables needing development or change
- can reduce the need for extended support and/or clinical sessions
- rapidly locates key wellbeing status information and risks
- can be implemented with individuals, families, teams and organisations
- is responsive to diverse ethnicity, gender, culture, age and other differences
- is cost effective and time efficient
- can identify cross organisational wellbeing profiles and trends
Note: Accredited UWET Facilitators will be able to access UWET outcome summaries for families, teams and organisations.
UWET Workshops are currently being offered to groups and organisations wishing to learn more about the background and capabilities of the UWET.
