Keep New Zealand Beautiful's Kai Garden Competition gives schools the opportunity to design a kai or rongoā garden for their school and win the resources to build it. This is a great way for tamariki between 3-13 years old to learn how easy it is to reduce their environmental footprint by growing their own food, cooking seasonally and composting food and garden waste. Entries are open until 17 June 2022.
A brand new museum experiences is now open at the New Zealand Cricket Museum. Situated at the historic Basin Reserve in central Wellington, the museum offers a sweep through out Summer game with an interactive and fun layout. The museum is a celebration of the diversity and uniqueness of our cricket story and is a must for social studies and history students or fans of cricket of any age.
