This advert is for New Beginnings on Waiheke Island, the new sister centre of Tots on the Rock. We are unfortunately saying goodbye to one of our valued team members who is changing professions.

New Beginnings Early Childcare Centre is looking for an ECE certified teacher to join our Tūī Room to be with our O2 tamariki. We have a small team of long-standing and dedicated kaiako who enjoy the amazing profession that is ECE, while finding time to have a laugh each day. An ability to work collaboratively and for the betterment of all children is a priority at our centre.  

We have a strong professional development policy which ensures that all staff at New Beginnings are supported with their professional goals by an Interlead mentor every two months. We will ensure you are first aid certified every 2 years.  

The successful applicant should be:  

• Able to work in a close-knit team environment and be a genuine team player 
• Open to learning and PD opportunities 
• Prepared to engage in curriculum planning and assessment 
• An open communicator! 
• Excellent at building relationships with tamariki and their whānau.
