Join impactED for an afterschool session on Strengthening understanding of the importance of Literacy and Numeracy from ECE - NCEA.

During the session, you will...

  • Gain an understanding of the CAA benchmark for both literacy and numeracy.
  • Strengthen your understanding of the implications for our ākonga from ECE - NCEA.
  • Come away with resources and ideas to integrate into your planning.

Time: 3:30-4:30pm

Location: Greymouth High School

 

This workshop is MOE funded, and is open to all educators in the Nelson, West Coast and Marlborough area.

Facilitated by Arnika Macphail

Arnika wears many hats, one being the MoE Literacy lead for the Nelson, Marlborough, West Coast. She is passionate about ensuring all kaiako have information and guidance to support learners to succeed in our current education climate. Arnika also believes that the best learning is achieved with chocolate - so there will be chocolate.
