Free Teacher PLD Workshops for primary and intermediate classroom teachers in New Plymouth, Invercargill and Greymouth during May 2024
Join us for a free, practical workshop on ways to use singing in the classroom for student development and wellbeing.
If you have wanted to introduce or add more singing into your classroom, let us show you some songs and games that can support your students' learning, improve hauora and help build their confidence and sense of community.
This workshop will include
singing for teachers to enhance your own musicianship and wellbeing
how you can get your students singing, even if you aren't a confident singer yourself
ways to use singing for routines, to reinforce learning, for mindfulness, and for fun!
waiata Māori and songs for different year groups and where to find them.

New Plymouth - Saturday 11 May, 1–4pm at West End School, presented by Jennifer Moss.
Invercargill - Saturday 25 May, 1–4pm at Waverley Park School, presented by Sally Bodkin-Allen.
Greymouth - Saturday 25 May, 1–4pm at Grey Main School, presented by Lala Simpson.
