An opportunity for professionals, including school counsellors and teaching/leadership teams, working alongside change, loss and grief, to be inspired, challenged, supported and to learn, share and connect.

Conference Keynote Speaker - Dr Lucy Hone

Our conference keynote speaker is the global resilience expert, award-winning academic, Director of the New Zealand Institute of Wellbeing and Resilience, and author of Resilient Grieving, Dr Lucy Hone. Lucy's TED talk, entitled Three Secrets of Resilient People, has over nine million views and has been translated into 15 languages.

There is also a wide range of presenters throughout the day and a choice of one of three workshops. Topics include grief literacy, resilient grieving, grief and suicide, grief from a Pasifika perspective, grief experienced by refugees, grief in the workplace, grief and assisted dying and more.

When: Friday 17 May 2024, 8.45am–5.30pm (registration open from 8am, closes 8.35am)

Where: Novotel Auckland Ellerslie, 72-112 Greenlane East, Ellerslie, Auckland.

Who: An opportunity for professionals working alongside change, loss and grief, or those in the community with a strong interest to be inspired, challenged, supported and to learn, share and connect.
