Tātaiako is a document, designed to support teachers in Aotearoa to examine their own teaching practice and ensure that what they do, reflects working towards outcomes for Māori learners – which impacts positively on all learners within our settings.

This workshop begins with a brief look into Law and Legislation and where this intersects with your responsibilities as a teacher in Aotearoa. Come and grow your understanding of Te Ao Māori and examine the competencies together to create shared meaning and ensure that your teaching goals challenge you to meet the professional teaching standards.
