Implementing the refreshed maths curriculum into classroom practice: A focus on Place Value, Addition and Subtraction

Two practical online workshops via zoom designed for all teachers in Y0-8 including those who are new to the profession, returning after a career break, overseas-trained or teachers simply wishing to consolidate their practice. These practical workshops will develop content knowledge of the newly refreshed maths curriculum to support explicit teaching in the classroom. Teachers can register for individual workshops or both.
During each workshop participants will;
- unpack the scope and sequence of the focus number topic in the refreshed mathematics curriculum
- Practical explicit teaching activities and observe clips of teaching in action with a group of students
- have access to useful teaching resources and practice activities to easily implement in your class.
Delivery : online via zoom
Timing: 4–5.30pm
Cost : $90 + GST per workshop
