Due to retirement, we are looking for a mathematics teacher with the ability to teach statistics or calculus at senior levels.

Contract and remuneration will be in accordance with the Secondary Teachers’ Collective Agreement (www.education.govt.nz/school/people-and-employment/employment-agreements/collective-agreements) as assessed by the Salary Assessment Unit of the Ministry of Education. Annual remuneration is dependent on service and qualifications, starting rate of $59,027 and top rate of $99,216. Hours of work will be full-time as set out in the STCA.
Entry requirements:
To become a secondary teacher, you need to have one of the following at Level 7 or above of the NZQF:
A specialist subject degree followed by a one-year Graduate Diploma of Teaching (Secondary) or a Master of Teaching (Secondary)
A Bachelor of Education (Technology)
A Bachelor of Teaching conjoint degree (a combination of teaching and specialist subjects).
