Classroom teacher Y4–6, part-time, fixed-term. Tagged position. Southland Adventist Christian School is a growing school located in Invercargill with a supportive community and friendly group of staff. The school is a full primary, Y1 to 8.

We seek a teacher who is enthusiastic, passionate, well-organised, highly skilled and capable of teaching a multilevel class. The successful applicant will have strengths in literacy and mathematics and value strong collegiality with school colleagues.

A willingness and ability to take part in religious instruction appropriate to the Seventh-day Adventist special character and demonstrate the capabilities to maintain programmes and activities that reflect the school’s special character is a condition of employment. This is a fixed-term position (LTR) for term 3, covering another staff member’s sabbatical leave, and would be suitable for a provisionally or fully registered teacher.
