We have a vacancy for an experienced and effective classroom teacher (New Entrants 2024, likely in year 1,2 or 3 2025 and beyond) who will fit in with our experienced, collaborative, well-organized team, be committed to our school values, and support us in working towards the goals in our strategic plan. We are a Structured Literacy (SL) school, and our staff is committed to giving effect to Te Tiriti o Waitangi. We are currently working on our maths delivery and assessment using the balanced approach through ImpactED. We have Enviro School Silver Status and have been running Garden to Table for some years. 

We are located in sunny Te Matau a Maui-Hawkes Bay, a semi-rural seaside community. We have an idyllic setting and are less than a 15-minute drive from central Hastings and a little longer from Napier. From the top of our school hill, we can see the iconic Te Kauwae a Maui - Cape Kidnappers and the buildings of Elephant Hill Winery. We are building towards 170 ākonga and have an extremely supportive community.
