Tena koutou – Welcome to Kaihu Valley School, set in a unique rural environment, a 30 minute drive north of the service town of Dargaville. We are at the gateway to Kai Iwi lakes, the Waipoua forest, home of Tane Mahuta and the Ripiro Coast from Maungonui Bluff to the north, Omamari, Baylys Beach, Glinks Gully, and Pouto to the south.
We are a small, sole charge, U2 full primary school catering for Years 1 – 8 students.
We are a well-resourced school seeking a new Principal, who has real empathy for the unique character of our school and who has children at the heart of everything they do.
As our new Principal, you will be well supported by our Board, staff and community.
