We are a small, coastal, family-oriented school 20 mins drive north of Dunedin, who are looking for an innovative, enthusiastic teacher to become part of our collaborative teaching team in our Y7–8 classroom.

We are searching for a kaiako who believes in building positive relationships with emerging adolescents. We value the culture in Y7 and 8 and work collaboratively to maintain a positive high-functioning working environment. The ideal candidate will motivate and engage our ākonga by keeping them at the centre of their learning journey through creative teaching practices in literacy, numeracy, integrated inquiry-based learning, and digital fluency. Experience with ‘structured literacy’ is advantageous. Please also state other curriculum strengths.

A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the understanding and ability to teach using culturally responsive and relational pedagogy is essential.
