Kelston Girls College is looking for an inspiring assistant leader of Te Wheke to help us build the language and cultural pride of our students. We want to develop bilingual language strength and pride in the student’s own culture so that they can take the skills and strength into the workforce or into higher education and be confident in who they are.

The school has implemented project based integrated modules of learning and we are looking for a language specialist to help lead the development of language and culture in the bilingual pathway. The leader could be a Te Reo Māori specialist, Gagana Samoa specialist or Lea Faka Tonga specialist.

Te Wheke are a dynamic and dedicated team of Kaiako and need a dynamic and enthusiastic assistant leader to ensure they are well supported.

The teaching position is permanent and the units are fixed term.
