Live Online: Child Protection (Modules 1 & 2) – Introduction/Refresher Course
This is a 2-day workshop run by Auckland Down Syndrome Association.
The workshop provides inspiration, detailed information, practical guidance, and strategies for educating students with Down syndrome and other special learning needs.
We have a range of world class presenters who have a huge wealth of experience and knowledge - and are passionate about passing this knowledge onto you.

Two adults with Down syndrome will also share their school experience as part of this workshop.
Who is it for?
SENCO’s, teachers, teacher aides, learning assistants specialist staff, and parent educators of students with Down syndrome and other special learning needs. Anyone who is part of this education journey will find the course beneficial.
Registration and further details
This course is run via ZOOM 8.45am to 2.30pm - so no travel is required. It is suitable for all those involved with education ofthose with learning challenges. Anyone in NZ is welcome to attend.
