This Safe for Children live online course is ideal for school leaders, teachers, learning support staff, teacher aids, OSCAR workers, youth workers, ECE and childcare staff.

Our full training programme is made up of two 55-minute modules and meets once online.
Module 1. Understanding Child Abuse
• What is Child Abuse?
• How might we recognise Child Abuse?
• What are the signs or indicators we should be looking for?
Module 2. Responding to Child Abuse Concerns
• How to respond if we have a concern or there is a disclosure
• Guidelines for documenting and reporting concerns
• How the law guides and protects us
