Director of Religious Studies (DRS)

We are a Y1-6 Catholic Primary School in beautiful New Plymouth looking forward to appointing a dedicated, faith filled, collaborative Director of Religious Studies (DRS) who has recent successful NZ teaching experience.

We are seeking an educator who will demonstrate a passion for Catholic Education so that our tamariki and community will encounter Christ, grow in their faith knowledge and in their witness of Christ.  You will love being involved in rich learning experiences, be culturally responsive, work well in a team and have a sense of fun.  We are looking for someone who will be future-focused, enthusiastic in the role, and supportive and committed to working collaboratively with students, staff, whānau and our Parish.

The applicant must have the ability to give guidance and provide effective leadership in religious education and observances throughout the school.

A willingness and ability to take part in religious instruction appropriate to the special character of the school is a condition of appointment.
