Associate Principal

We are a large multicultural school proudly located in Manurewa, South Auckland. We receive strong support from our local community and have a school roll of approximately 950 amazing tamariki with 102 kind & caring staff. Alongside our mainstream classes, we have 5 language units that caters for a highly diverse community. The culture of our kura is based around our school values “4 C’s”: Courtesy, Common sense, Consideration and Co-Operation. These values are a key component to our ongoing success, strong stable staff and Board.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced senior leader to join our diverse school community as the Associate Principal.

You will work closely with the Principal and all teams, championing curriculum development, pedagogical excellence, and daily operations. Proficiency in bilingual pedagogy and a commitment to upholding te Tiriti o Waitangi principles are essential.

The successful applicant must be able to:

• Build effective relationships with ākonga, whānau and staff and model a growth mindset.
• Uphold our school values and drive the school’s vision. You will join an effective leadership team with a distributed leadership model.
• Grow or extend your leadership capability. Candidates should be creative, innovative thinkers who can inspire others.
• Display strong skills in assessment analysis, pedagogy, and curriculum development.
