Taihape Area School nurtures the potential of learners from new entrants to Y13.  Our focus on student learning and building educationally powerful partnerships with Whānau, Mana Whenua and our wider community are integral to who we are. Manaakitanga, Whanaungatanga, Rangatiratanga and Wairuatanga are our cornerstones.  

We are seeking a physical education and health teacher passionate about and experienced in education outside the classroom to lead in this space. The successful applicant will demonstrate their ability to make the most of our unique environment. Experience in NCEA and ability to work in a team across varied curriculum areas would be advantageous.  

Taihape is a friendly, small rural community, which is whānau focused and supportive in empowering our Rangatahi to succeed. We are located in the northern Rangitīkei District.  

Position commencing 22 July 2024, or by negotiation. School housing is available.
