Full time, fixed-term, start date: 22/07/2024, end date: 23/07/2025 (maternity leave).

We are looking for an outstanding full-time, fixed term teacher to cover for our Senior Team Leader, who is also a Y7-8 permanent kaiako, while she is on parental leave.

Norfolk School Te Kura o Māketehinu is located just outside of Inglewood and we are extremely fortunate to have fantastic rural children, small class sizes and an incredibly engaged community. We have a supportive and collaborative team with plenty of opportunities to bring your passions into the classroom for the benefit of our tamariki.

The successful applicant will have strong curriculum knowledge, interpersonal skills and be a team player. Knowledge of Te Reo Māori or structured literacy would be beneficial.

There is a possibility of additional salary units for applicants wanting to take on additional responsibilities.
