Bishop Viard College is an exciting and collaborative learning and working environment in the heart of Porirua with a diverse student population, we are a Y7-13 Co-Ed school and the only Catholic college in the wider Kapi-Mana area.

The college has a roll of 420 students which includes diverse ethnic communities with the majority of our students having Māori and Pasifika whakapapa.

We are seeking an Intermediate Teacher to lead our four / five class Intermediate school (Y7 & 8).

Depending on the candidate this role may also have responsibility as the pastoral dean of the Intermediate and as such would have an additional 2 Unit and 1 Middle Management Allowance.

Please note, this role will come under the PPTA Collective guidelines – meaning that, amongst other provisions in the collective, the maximum contact hours per week will be 18 and units will be paid at $5k p/a each.

Start date: Term 3 2024
