This 0.4 [FTTE] teaching role will be undertaken on Thursday and Friday each week. The position is being offered for a fixed-term period due to uncertain role and a review being undertaken of class formation for 2025).

Primary (Y0–8) certificated teacher who can teach across the following areas of learning; English, Health, and physical education, learning languages, mathematics and statistics, science, social sciences, technology, Te reo Māori, the arts.

St Marcellin Primary School is located in Tāwhero, in the beautiful river city of
Whanganui, New Zealand. It is a state integrated Catholic special character school catering for students in an inclusive, co-educational, multi-cultural environment, Y0–8.

St Marcellin Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic principal release teacher to join our team and facilitate exciting learning programmes for an amazing group of Y5-8 students on a Thursday and Friday.

Successful applicants will be expected to uphold/support the Catholic special character of the school. In addition to this, the successful applicant will be confident in planning, implementing, and assessing Literacy and Numeracy programmes as well as integrating all other areas of the New Zealand Curriculum in their daily programmes.

Position commences Thursday 13 June 2024 through to Friday 13 December 2024.
