We are seeking a part-time, fixed-term New Zealand registered teacher to join our Aroha (Y1 and 2) team in late term 2 or the start of term 3, 2024. This is job-share position where you would teach 2 out of the 5 days in the week (preferably Tuesday and Wednesdays) through to the end of the 2024 school year, to release the classroom teacher who has been seconded for a specialist teacher role. You will need to be an all-rounder who can not only teach literacy and numeracy but also have interest and skills in other learning areas.

Terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position is set by the Area School Teachers’ Collective Agreement – Education in New Zealand (ASTCA).

A willingness and ability to uphold the special character of the school, and a willingness and ability to take part in religious instruction appropriate to the special character of the school, shall be condition of appointment.
