The role:
As a primary teacher at our school, you'll work alongside a dedicated team of Montessori guides who lead our 6 to 12-year-old programme. Your role is to support the Montessori guides in implementing the curriculum. In the afternoons, your role will be to lead enriching experiences through the arts, science, social science and physical education.
What we're looking for:
Positive can-do attitude
Strong relationship building skills: Building trust and rapport with students, parents, and colleagues is key to our school community.
Teaching experience: You should have a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, demonstrating your expertise in delivering high-quality education (not suitable for beginning teachers).
Effective behaviour management: Experience with Positive Behaviour for Learning (PB4L) techniques (a strong advantage).
Interest in Montessori philosophy: A passion for Montessori education philosophy and a willingness to learn and integrate its principles into your teaching practice (an advantage).
Registered primary teacher: Hold relevant qualifications and be registered as a primary teacher.
