Google Classroom is a free tool in Google Workspace which is now available to all schools.
Google Classroom brings together Google Meet, Google Drive, Google Docs and Gmail to help teachers create and organise assignments and communication with students; all without any paper and available anyplace, anytime and on any device. Teachers can create their classes and add students directly or share a code with their class to join. Initial feedback is that it has both the ease of use and robustness we have come to expect from Google Apps.
With Google Classroom, the idea is that students will always know what is due and when – all their assignments and tasks, whether they are in a single class or more, are on a single webpage. Students too, can make the most of it in organising and completing their assignments and initiate proper communication with teachers.
How will Google Classroom affect the place of Google Drive, your LMS or Dashboard in your school?
Find out more about what Google Classroom is, how it works and why you might want to consider using it.
This is a hands-on, practical, bring your own device class.
