Live Online Course: Self-Care & Wellbeing
Sharing Best Practice (SBP) is a half-day of premium evidence-based professional development and an opportunity to share insights on teaching. Aimed at primary and secondary leaders, teachers and allied health professionals.
Held on a Saturday morning (8am to 1pm) on three dates at three locations across the country:
Come on your own or bring a team - learn about evidence-based instruction and wellbeing and enjoy the networking opportunity with other amazing educators. A generous morning tea is included.
The overall theme for the conferences is: Combining the art of teaching with the science of learning.
There will be keynote presentations and workshop breakout sessions led by New Zealand school leaders, teachers, researchers and other teaching and allied health professionals. There will be a big focus on structured literacy, structured approaches to maths, supporting social and emotional learning and behaviour curricula, building a knowledge rich curriculum and whole school curriculum planning.
Our presenters generously volunteer their time, allowing us to keep ticket costs low ($50) and accessible to all.

In this six hour digital skills workshop, your TAs will explore a range of tools and platforms, gaining confidence working in the digital realm, along with practical skills and knowledge that can be applied immediately.

16-18 September, Tūranga, Ōtautahi (Christchurch).
Keynotes include: Deborah Wood, Dr. Simon Breakspear, Mere Berryman, Vitale Lafaele, Joce Nuttall and Jacoba Matapo. There will also be further opportunity to hear from a wide range of additional international and national education leaders and researchers.
