We are seeking an experienced teacher of health & physical education to join our energetic team of teachers here at the college. As assistant HoF the successful candidate will carry out responsibilities as delegated by the SLT and HoF for the successful running of the faculty, to ensure successful outcomes for our students and staff.
The successful candidate will have taught senior health and physical education classes up to NCEA Level 3 and Scholarship and be an active coach/leader in extracurricular activities.
Remuneration will be negotiated based on experience.
Our college is a boys’ secondary school for Y9–13 students and also operates a co-ed senior college in Y12–13 with girls from St Matthew’s Collegiate School. We are a college that enjoys a reputation as a school in New Zealand that provides students with an excellent opportunity to develop into well-rounded young people. The school grounds cover 58 hectares and are located in the thriving Wairarapa, 5 minutes north of Masterton. Three boys' boarding houses are located on the grounds, catering for 180 boarding students.
On-site accommodation and a role within our boarding houses may be available.
