Kōhungahunga o Te Hoiere is a well-established, whānau orientated preschool licensed for 30, located in Havelock - the gateway to the Marlborough Sounds. We are a unique and individual preschool with a purpose-built centre that caters to the wider Pelorus cluster. Our kaupapa is based on respectful teaching, free range tamariki and fun! Our environment reflects our passion and commitment to Te Tiriti O Waitangi and the holistic way tamariki learn and grow.
We invite applicants for a full-time kaiako position, and welcome 3rd year kaiako in training to also apply. We are seeking a highly-skilled, enthusiastic and motivated team player that has excellent communication skills and competence in all aspects of being an outstanding kaiako. You will be eager to constantly expand your knowledge base and have a commitment to your ongoing learning and teaching.
As an employer, we are party to The Early Childhood Education Collective Agreement of Aotearoa New Zealand (ECECA). Further to this, we offer a daily travel allowance to those who meet the requirements, paid teacher registration, first aid training and ongoing PLD.
We are able to offer an immediate start date for the right person.
