St Joseph's is a 'Sole Charge School' situated in the small coastal township of Patea in South Taranaki. It is a state integrated Catholic special character school catering for students in an inclusive, co-educational, multi-cultural environment.
We are seeking an enthusiastic principal release teacher to join our team and facilitate exciting learning programmes for an amazing group of Y0 - Y6 tamariki.
This 0.4 [FTTE] teaching role will be undertaken on Thursday and Friday each week.
Successful applicants will be expected to uphold/support the Catholic special character of the school. In addition to this, the successful applicant will be confident in planning, implementing, and assessing Literacy and Numeracy programmes as well as integrating all other areas of the New Zealand Curriculum in their daily programmes.
Experience with structured literacy or PR1ME maths approach would be
advantageous, but not a requirement, as support can be given in this area.
