We are looking for a passionate, inspirational, inclusive and highly skilled kaiako to join our student-focused, progressive school.
This role would involve providing specialist learning opportunities for classes based on a weekly rotation with different blocks of time. You would rotate through 3 classes each day and have the chance to tap into your curriculum superpower. This is the perfect opportunity if you want to maintain a consistent work schedule and are keen to focus on your specialty area.
We are looking for expertise in any of the following areas:
Specialised visual arts skills and expertise
PE and sports skills and expertise
Performing arts skills and expertise
Te Reo Māori / Te Ao Māori
A passion, knowledge and understanding of any of these areas (only needs to be one or more than)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This job will be 3 days a week; Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. You will be teaching across the whole kura from Y0–6. Starts on 20/05/2024 and ends on 13/12/2024. Can start earlier if candidate is available.
