(Role#Kew25)

We have an exciting opportunity where we need a new team to be based at an existing kindergarten in Invercargill.

Our current team has decided to head to new opportunities with SKA and the wider community. Therefore, we are looking for a new team to be based at Kew Kindergarten, Invercargill.

While this kindergarten works to build tamariki rolls, it’s important to have a position available with flexibility. This means on quiet days this kaiako may be able to head off to other kindergartens to provide support. This role will be based at this kindergarten for one year; if at that stage a full-time permanent kaiako is required, you will transition to this position. Otherwise, you will still have a full-time role as a floating kaiako for the rest of the kindergartens.

For this role you must:

  • Live in and be a NZ resident (we are unable to provide sponsorship for overseas candidates)
  • Be fully registered with NZ Teaching Council
  • Hold a degree or similar in ECE.

Please see the job description below.
