We are a small, privately owned centre with an ECE qualified owner, located in the Marshlands area with a huge outdoor environment.

Our preschool is licensed for 40 children, including up to 5 tamariki under the age of 2 in a mixed aged setting. We have a close-knit community with strong relationships with our children and whānau and we are committed to finding the right person to join our team. 

If successful, you’ll join our small team of fun, caring, creative and passionate teachers. Relationship building is the most important quality we look for in our teachers and you will need to be passionate, empathetic and possess a readiness to learn. Ideally you have a good understanding of children’s individual learning needs, assessment practices and the ability to connect well with parents/whānau and other teachers. A great sense of humour, as well as a belief in your ability to positively influence the lives of tamariki and their whānau are a must!

Our philosophy is based around active movement, respect, fun, love of learning and relationships. We provide caring, responsive relationships and engaging activities that cater to the individual needs of tamariki and their whānau.

This position could be for 4 or 5 days per week (with flexibility for the right person) with 20 to 30 hours between 7.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday, with generous non-contact time.
