Andersons Bay Community Kindergarten is a small centre located in a beautiful villa on the hills above the Otago Harbour. We are a non-profit centre managed by our families and community is at the heart of everything we do.
We offer full pay parity, realistic non-contact time, fortnightly paid team hui and many opportunities for professional learning and growth.
Following a retirement, we have a vacancy for an ECE qualified and registered kaiako. The position is part-time, currently comprising around 20 contact hours over five days plus non-contact time.
We are looking for a community focused team member who can quickly build strong relationships with children and whānau. You will have strong skills in documenting tamariki learning and really enjoy assessment and planning for learning. You will be committed to providing a culturally responsive curriculum in a play-based environment and have a growing competency in te reo Māori.
