Design and implement a culturally responsive and engaging classroom program that aligns with the English-medium/Te ao Māori approach and the New Zealand Curriculum.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
Work towards achieving full New Zealand Teacher Registration, if not already attained, through the provisionally registered teacher (PRT) process.
Collaborate with colleagues and members of the wider community to enhance the educational experiences and outcomes for students.
Participate actively in staff meetings, professional learning communities, and school-wide initiatives.
Use a variety of assessment tools and strategies to monitor student progress, identify areas for growth, and provide targeted support.
Provide constructive feedback to students and their whānau to support ongoing learning and development.
Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice, deepen cultural competence, and meet the evolving needs of our diverse student population.
Take ownership of professional growth and actively seek out opportunities for learning and reflection.
