Start date: 10 June 2024 (or earlier by negotiation)
We are seeking a dynamic, passionate, and collaborative student focused teacher of both outdoor education and health & physical education.
Applicants should be highly motivated with strong organisational skills to lead groups in a range of outdoor pursuits and contribute to the development of our Y10-13 outdoor education and Y9-13 health & physical education programmes.
Current qualifications in the outdoor industry are preferred but the ability to teach NCEA up to Level 3 is essential. Please note any other specialist subjects.
This is a wonderful opportunity to teach in a well-resourced and supportive learning area.
Commitment to our whānau-based philosophy and participation in the co-curricular life of the college is expected.
Beginning teachers who have outdoor qualifications are welcome to apply.
