We are a high performing State integrated Anglican School for 450 girls situated in the heart of Dunedin city.  Applicants must be supportive of the school’s Anglican special character.

This position will work alongside the staff and HOD social sciences to form a high performing, cohesive and energetic social sciences team.

Developing quality curriculum delivery and ensuring excellent learning outcomes for all students within a high performing department, is critical to this role. The successful candidate will be an exceptional classroom practitioner who is able to support and guide students, lead by example and be prepared to trial, fail and learn through inquiry into their own practice. Please state supporting subjects.

The successful candidate will have experience in developing curriculum initiatives, have excellent knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum and future-focused pedagogies. Being responsive to the identified needs of our learners and adapting programmes to suit will be essential.

This is a full time permanent position. All members of staff of schools within New Zealand are required to undergo police vetting. The appointment to this position will be made conditional upon receiving a satisfactory report. Police vetting is undertaken every three years following appointment.
