Our school is seeking an experienced leader to join us as our fully released Deputy Principal in term 3. The ideal candidate will have exceptional curriculum knowledge, strong communication skills, and proven leadership abilities. They must be professional in all settings, highly organised, motivated, and knowledgeable about effective educational practices.

The successful applicant will lead our Y4-6 syndicate and three senior teachers, with five leadership units attached. We are looking for someone who can build positive relationships with staff, students, whānau, and the community, while also fostering teamwork and collaboration.

Candidates should be creative, innovative thinkers who can inspire others. Strong skills in assessment analysis, pedagogy, and curriculum are essential. A sense of humour and enjoyment at work are highly valued.

As Deputy Principal, you will work closely with our team, championing curriculum development, pedagogical excellence, and daily operations. Proficiency in PB4L and a commitment to upholding te Tiriti o Waitangi principles are essential. Previous leadership experience is required.

At Riverview School, we are a Y1–6 primary school located in Kerikeri, Bay of Islands.
