ECE Kaiako Nursery

With our role increasing, we are excited to be looking for a new kaiako to join our nursery team at Portobelo Avonhead full-time.

At Portobelo Avonhead we are lucky to have both a nursery and preschool, each in their own separate building, each with beautiful big backyards just waiting to be explored.

As a team we are passionate about inspiring tamariki through free play experiences that are built upon by the pedogeological knowledge of our kaiako. 

We are looking for someone who teaches from a pedagogy of the heart and whose practice is firmly grounded in whanaungatanga. We are also looking for someone who is passionate about documenting the learning journeys of the tamariki they work with in ways that resonate with whānau.
