Qualified certificated kaiako

We are seeking a qualified certificated kaiako to join our team as a long term reliever.

Seedlings Preschool has a home-like atmosphere with a team culture which reflects solid professional relationships, a sense of humour, and passion with a belief that children and their families are priority and their education and care is paramount.

Seedlings Preschool is set on a lifestyle block, which includes animals to watch and care for. Licensed for 35 children, of which 6 are U2s, with strong ties with the community. Our centre has a large outdoor area with facilities where children have lots of opportunities to explore.

This exceptional centre is looking for a dedicated teacher who has:

• NZ teacher registration
• Experience working with children
• The ability to work well in a team and with a wide range of people
• The ability to identify children’s unique strengths and interests
• Sound knowledge of ECE legislation, standards, policies and procedures that impact on the centre and programming
• Good communication and time management skills.

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit.
