Resource teacher learning and behaviour

RTLB, permanent position, 1 MU + SDA. We are seeking a NZ experienced, fully registered teacher with proven skills in working culturally responsively with Maori, Pasifika and priority learners. The successful applicant will have recent teaching or RTLB experience, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, teachers and other professionals.  Applicants must have an in-depth knowledge of the NZ Curriculum, experience in supporting diverse learners ideally across primary and secondary levels, capability in managing behaviour, and have the ability to guide teachers to adapt programmes.

Having a deep understanding of Te Ao Māori or Pasifika languages could be highly advantageous and for the right applicant, an opportunity to provide leadership in cultural responsiveness and knowledge may present itself in the future.

Applicant will have a Bachelor Degree or the equivalent qualification, the RTLB qualification or have the capacity and willingness to attain the mandatory RTLB qualification with funding and support. A full driver licence and use of own car essential.
