Learning support coordinator

This position is a permanent full-time teaching equivalent (FTTE) using the Primary Teachers Collective.

We are looking for an experienced teacher holding a (full) current practising certificate, who has experience and the ability to manage and coordinate learning and behaviour support across the school. Our LSC will have knowledge of external agencies and how to access them to support learners. It is essential that our LSC is comfortable working in a collaborative teaching environment and has strong interpersonal skills

As LSC you will work closely with ākonga, whānau, kaiako, outside agencies, the Principal and senior leadership team to identify learning challenges and to guide the implementation of effective support strategies.  The successful applicant will be expected to work in a network of other LSCs in our Kahui Ako, sharing knowledge, and expertise across the rohe.
