Waipukurau School Hawke's Bay

Y3–4 junior teacher

Waipukurau School is looking for an amazing teacher to join our kura in our Y3–4 team. We are looking for a confident person who isn’t afraid of hard mahi and is a team player, to join our supportive team.

The position will be working in one of our Y3–4 classrooms where we have three teachers currently. We use structured literacy and Writers Toolbox as the basis for our literacy program and have worked with outside providers to increase our capabilities in mathematics. Support is available to the successful applicant to help them in these areas, if needed.

The ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of students is important to us. Applicants will need to have experience in New Zealand schools. We would prefer an experienced teacher, however, we will consider an awesome beginning teacher who is prepared to put in the mahi!

This position is to start in term 3 – however we are open to the possibility of an earlier start date in late term 2. This is dependent on the right applicant.
