We are currently on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Montessori teacher, a role that is open to both untrained and registered teachers who are open to embracing the Montessori philosophy.

Ideal candidate:

  • Holds a Teaching Degree in Early Childhood Education (Registered teacher), or Primary trained Kaiako (preferred but not required).
  • Passionate about education with a commitment to fostering a nurturing learning environment.
  • Patient, flexible, and respectful in their approach to child guidance.
  • Prior Montessori training or experience is not necessary, but we would prefer if candidates are willing to learn and integrate the Montessori philosophy into their practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Implementing educational activities that align with Montessori principles, tailored to the individual needs of each child.
  • Creating a nurturing and stimulating environment conducive to exploration and learning.
  • Engaging with our community of children, families, and staff to foster a supportive learning environment.
  • Committing to ongoing professional development in Montessori philosophy and practices.
