The team from Sorted in Schools will be offering professional development workshops for teachers wanting to learn more about financial education in secondary schools in Aotearoa.
The West Auckland region goes up to Mahurangi and Rodney and includes North-West Auckland.
Held at the Titirangi Primary School on Friday 9 August from 9am until 2.15pm. There are six rounds of chess. The winning school qualifies for the NZCF National Championships held in Wellington on 28-29 September (the first weekend of the school holidays).
All players receive a certificate reflecting their performance in the competition. The top 3 placed teams receive medals, as well as individuals with an outstanding performance.
A school may enter multiple teams. Entry fees are $80+$15 NZCF levy per team.
