Te Puna Reo o Te Ahi Kaikōura a Tama ki te Rangi, a Māori Langauge Early Learning Centre, opened in February 2024. Our mission is to revitise Te Reo Māori and upskill whānau by nuturing tamariki and inspiring the community to embrace Te Reo and (re)connect with te ao Māori. 

We seek an enthusiastic individual eager to shape our new space and create something magical! Join a groundbreaking initiative within a Kaupapa Māori Framework to revitalise Te Reo Māori. 

Requirements:

• Recognised ECE or Primary qualification and current teacher registration
• Whakapakari Tohu (Ideal, but not required)
• Willingnness to speak and learn te reo Māori
• First Aid certificate
• Passion for teaching and nurturing tamariki, fostering their love for leanrning and appreciation of te reo Māori me ngā Tīkanga Māori 
• Strong interpersonal skills and team collaboration 

Confidence in te reo is not required if you have a willingness to learn. Te Reo Māori Pd available
