Heart-led, nurturing infant and toddler kaiako

A rare opportunity has become available to join our Westpark Early Learning whānau, in a fixed term role with a start date of 29 July 2024 (this can be negotiated for the right person) right through until the end of April 2025.

This fixed term position is to cover both maternity and long-term annual leave in our 0 to 2-year-old space.

We pride ourselves on providing a home away from home for our pēpi, and their whanāu, and we expect that any new kaiako respectfully does the same.

Warmth, love and nurturing are woven through our philosophy ensuring that our pēpi have the opportunity to develop strong relationships in a safe, caring environment with meaningful interactions. 

We are seeking a kaiako with genuine passion for infants and toddlers. 

Our new kaiako must also:

• be familiar with primary care
• be familiar with individual planning and assessment
• be able to work 20-35 hours a week
• be qualified and registered (provisional or full)
• be able to do 1 open (7.15am) and 1 close (5pm) per week
• be a team player.
