Early childhood Kaiako

Hope Preschool is a community-based, not-for-profit full-day early childhood centre in Mataura, Southland.  Our biblical philosophy and values guide our operations, curriculum and teaching practice. 

We have a position for 32-40 hours per week in our Māhuri team, teaching children 3-5 years of age. This position would suit a qualified, registered early childhood or primary kaiako or a third year student.  Applicants will be able to work with a diverse range of tamariki and whānau and contribute to our Christian philosophy and values.  

We offer a purpose-built teaching and learning environment, great team culture and support. Kaiako receive one hour of non-contact per day, extended pay parity, paid registration renewals and first aid.  

We are an accredited employer however applicants should be already studying or working in NZ.
