About the role:  

BestStart Faringdon are looking for an experienced head teacher for their busy preschool space aged 3–4-year-olds, who shares their centre values and vision. 

Their successful applicant will need to be:

• Experienced working in a leadership role in an ECE setting or be confident they are ready to step into a leadership role
• Bubbly, outgoing, kind, patient, and able to show initiative
• Calm under pressure and solution focused
• A self-starter -creating exciting ideas and experiences to extend our children's learning 
• Aligned with our centre philosophy.

Role requirements: 

• BEd/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current Teacher Certification 
• A strong understanding of programme planning, pedagogy and curriculum 
• Good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whāriki and hold compliance in a high regard. 

This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours, between 7am–6pm, Monday–Friday.
