ECE teacher U3s

Monday-Friday, 38–40 hours per week

An opportunity has arisen for an exceptional teacher to join Ilam Early Learning Centre’s toddlers room team. With a maximum of 12 toddlers, our ratio for this room is 1:4.

The University of Canterbury Students’ Association (UCSA) is a not-for-profit organisation. The Ilam ELC is on the University's Dovedale Campus, offering early childhood education to children of students, staff of the University, and the local community. Our teachers enjoy attractive working conditions and remuneration with low teacher to child ratios.

To be successful in your application, you will possess the following:

• Early Childhood Education registration
• Experience in assessment practices
• A passion for working with U3s
• Excellent communication skills and enjoy building good relationships with children and families
• A willingness to grow your skill set, be reflective and work well within a team.
