Our roll is growing fast so we are now looking for additional committed kaiako to join our team in a variety of roles. Kaiako who can support tamariki, whānau and their team to settle into positive, care-based rhythms and are passionate about learning through play. Our kaiako need to have a good understanding of developmental and emotional needs of the stage/age they teach, along with the ability to be part of a collaborative and inclusive team.
We have experienced team members who are ready to mentor kaiako of all experience levels including provisionally registered or in-training teachers.
Our team believe in maintaining an environment where kindness, understanding and fun are part of our ways of being and doing. We are an extended pay parity team, have a very supportive management structure in place, our fully catered centre is licensed for 80 children.
We pride ourselves on looking after our kaiako so they can support the tamariki and whānau as they learn and grow with our community. Please include in your cover letter if you are applying to teach and learn alongside infants, toddlers or preschool aged children.
